About Rip'n'Run Basketball

Rip'n'Run basketball was set up in 1998 by the camp directors Mark Ingle, Mark Scannell and Adrian Fulton. Rip'n'Run is a series of basketball camps that coach the game of basketball in a method that is fun and enjoyable to players of all ages.

Adrian Fulton

Director

Adrian Fulton is an ex Irish International player who has played with and against some of the best players in the world. Adrian's expertise at camps is renowned all over the country.

Mark Ingle

Director

Mark Ingle is a full time experienced basketball coach who has coached on every level for Ireland. Mark is currently the head coach of DCU Mercy's super league women's team.

Mark Scannell

Director

Mark Scannell is a fully qualified NCTC tutor and has played and coached at the highest levels in Ireland. Mark is currently the head coach of Glanmire super league women's team.

The Rip'n'Run Campus

The 2021 Rip'n'Run residential basketball camp will be situated at DCU, the home of Champions. The DCU campus offers state of the art facilities incorporating health and wellness that meet the needs of our campers. DCU have a wide range of facilities at the University Sports Complex, including pool, tepidarium, sauna, steam room, spa pool, sports halls and studios as well as a fitness centre with over 100 pieces of equipment.

Josep Maria Berrocal
Spanish

Working eight years as assistant coach to the Spanish National team, Josep achieved two Euroleague, three ACB Leagues, three Copas del Rey, two Superliga and two Catalan Leagues. Assistant coach to FC Barcelona and is now the first coach of the Eskisehir Basket of the Turkish First Division.

José Ramón Cuspinera
Spanish

Currently, the head coach of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, Jota has been assistant coach for nine seasons in ACB teams, distributed among Estudiantes, Real Madrid and Baskonia. In addition, he has collaborated very actively with the technical office of the FEB and has been selected in training categories in various international events.

Agustin Julbe
Spanish

Coached most recently at Anadolu Efes in Turkish BSL league. He helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. The previous (15-16) season Julbe coached at Baskonia. He has coached previously two other Spanish teams: FC Barcelona and CB Prat.
